This Mechanical Fitter position is working for a company in Portsmouth who focus on asset and facilities management across the defence and maritime sectors. The role offers a Monday to Friday working week. This Mechanical Fitter position is paying up to £37,000 depending on experience. A British Passport is required and you will need to be able to obtain security clearance. This Mechanical Fitter role is focused on the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of mechanical systems including heating systems, pumps, saws, hoists, winches and steam systems. Responsibilities include installation, fault finding, repair, testing and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. It is important within this role to ensure all tools and equipment are used suitability, as well as up to date with inspections.
