Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting: We are looking for Mechanical Maintenance Fitters for permanent positions in Newark for immediate starts. Salary is circa £49,000 per annum and will be working on a 4 on, 4 off, shift rotation (Days and nights) Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of site assets Work closely with production teams to maximise utilisation of equipment Carry out planned preventative maintenance via the CMMS system, Holistech Respond to breakdowns using structured fault-finding techniques Ensure all work is completed in compliance with SOPs and legislation Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects Drive efficiency, energy awareness and cost-effective solutions Complete all relevant statutory and maintenance documentation Requirements: Mechanical engineering background with hands on industrial experience Apprentice trained to NVQ Level 3 Experience working within a manufacturing or process environment Proven fault finding and breakdown response skills Understanding of xehkeey health and safety legislation and responsibilities Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Highly motivated and supportive team player Able to work independently without immediate supervision Open to further personal development in line with the company training plan Dutton Recruitment are working as an Employment Business on behalf of our client.
