Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (DAYS)

West Bromwich.

Industrial Manufacturing Company.

£40,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Pension + Benefits.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm)

This is a unique opportunity for a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join a successful, SME manufacturing business based in West Bromwich.

This role supports manufacturing through the provision of maintenance engineering activities across all automated production machinery on site. If you are adept at achieving optimisation of plant availability through skilled maintenance engineering practices, this could be for you!

Role Description.

* Provision of both planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of industrial scale manufacturing machinery.

* Mechanical fault finding and repair, basic electrical engineering.

* Stripping down, servicing, repairing and installing new machinery when required.

* Commissioning of new installations.

* Working on pneumatics/hydraulics.

* Conducting all work in a H&S conscious fashion.

* Working within a small team of engineers.

Skills and Qualifications.

* Mechanical Maintenance Engineering background.

* Experience within industrial manufacturing environments.

* Strong fault-finding capability.

* Ability to work within a small, dedicated maintenance team.

This role will suit an engineer who is looking for a great daily challenge and who enjoys finding solutions to engineering problems across manufacturing machinery.
