Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
Establish and carry out planned preventative maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability.
Undertake planned and emergency repairs in a safe and timely manner including any follow up actions and recording of work using SAP.
Working safely and following industry best practice.
Developing Risk Assessment and Method Statements for all engineering activities.
Working alongside contractors during planned maintenance opportunities.
Manage and maintain stock levels of machinery spares and consumables.
Carry out fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown situations.
Qualifications & skills of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
NVQ level 3 Mechanical
CMMS
SAP
Benefits of an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:
Days based position 8am till 4pm Monday - Friday
Basic salary £42,000
25 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 27 days with service
Group Personal Pension Plan, with up to 8% employer contribution
Bonus scheme (based on business performance and not guaranteed)
Free parking
