Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | Ripley | Salary - £53,482 Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Engineering company. They are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their close knit and thriving team. Working hours: .Responsibilities: Diagnosing faults with machinery Servicing and emergency repairs Carry out asset care plans and PM schedules across a range of machinery. Operating within a CMMS system Plant, machinery, and services breakdowns, identifying root cause, and implementing the required mechanical and electrical asset care. Ensure all maintenance stock items are available within reason, monitor stock levels and manage orders Follow maintenance schedules and carry out routine servicing of machinery Ensure equipment runs efficiently and down times are minimised so that the plant runs to production plan and reliability is increased Ideal Candidate: Time served (apprenticeship) mechanical biased maintenance engineer. Experience of working within a process-oriented environment Fault finding and root cause analysis experience. A pro-active approach and mindset to contribute within a continuous improvement culture. 4 years of Practical working experience in manufacturing Core mechanical competencies Welding Machine shop Be able to work flexibly from time to time, as required to suit the business needs.
