Job description Were working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.

Location: Near Bicester Salary: £40-45000 plus overtime Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (12 hour Shifts)

Average 42 hours per week

12 hours shifts

07.00am-19.00pm OR 19.00pm-07.00am

Working 4 on and 4 off - 2 days/2nights shifts

The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day running, repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks. Relevant training or have served an apprenticeship Have experience working as an Industrial Mechanical Shift Engineer within Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation. Any experience in the printing or packaging industry would be beneficial but not essential. Experience with maintenance programmes within a large scale manufacturing environment. Electromechanical skills are a definite advantage but not essential Have excellent communication, organisational and team work skills Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.

As you can imagine in such a busy role, we would like you to be able to demonstrate the necessary flexibility, enthusiasm and drive to work within a fast-paced department.

Specific training will be provided. Some machine assets have OEM remote support diagnostics.
