Are you a qualified Mechanical Engineer seeking a stable, static role in a prime Central London location?
We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site team at a modern, corporate office building. You will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical plant and systems are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and comfortable environment for all building occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical systems.
Service and repair mechanical assets including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), pumps, motors, valves, and pipework.
Perform basic plumbing tasks, including attending to leaks, blockages, and repairs to sanitary ware.
Conduct regular plant room checks, ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
Diagnose and rectify faults in a timely and effective manner to minimise disruption to building services.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work completed via the site's CAFM system.
Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team to ensure a seamless maintenance service.
Uphold the highest standards of health and safety compliance at all times.
The Ideal Candidate:
Must be a fully qualified Mechanical Engineer (e.g., City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing & Heating, or equivalent).
Proven experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a commercial or corporate office environment is essential.
