Job Description Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber - Battersea, South West London - Up to £40,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in Battersea, South West London. I am currently recruiting for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / plumber to be based at a large residential estate situated by Battersea, South West London. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or plumber with a proven track record in commercial / property building maintenance. He or she will be required to carry out M&E/Fabric planned and reactive maintenance / Installation across this large static site.

Working with the maintenance team on site (3 Engineers). He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands on experience of the below. Our client is happy to consider mechanical engineers or plumbers who have completed their apprenticeships (Must have C&G Level 2 as a minimum) who have some commercial building maintenance experience but want to learn. \n Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)

\n

Emergency lighting

\n

Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)

\n

Chillers - Re-set

\n

Water Treatment (Temperature checks)

\n

Plumbing - Unblocking toilets

\n

BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)

\n

UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

\n

General building fabric

\n

Statatory Compliance

\n

HIU's

\n

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hour week)

Requirements

\n Mechanically or Plumbing qualified - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates

\n

City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2

\n

A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance

\n

High End Residential Experience

\n

Excellent customer service skills

\n

Happy to cover a large estate

\n

Honest, hard working and reliable

\n

Package

\n £40,000 depending on experience
