Job Description
Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join our maintenance team.
The Essentials
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pattern: 5 working days with 2 rest day
Location: West London
Your Role
As a mechanically biased tradesperson, you will handle a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs. Your day-to-day will involve:
System Maintenance: Fault-finding and minor installations on HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and fans
Plumbing: Managing hot and cold-water systems and basic pipework.
Building Fabric: Assisting with non-specialist maintenance tasks to support the wider team.
Compliance: Using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to close tasks accurately and maintaining site records in line with Health & Safety procedures.
Safety: Working safely within plant rooms, confined spaces, and at height.
What You Bring
Qualifications: A recognized mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Experience: Proven experience in HVAC and mechanical building services within a live environment
