Working Hours: 3 shift pattern (days, afternoons & nights)

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established client based in the Ebbw Vale area.

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity awaits at a world-leading manufacturer renowned for product quality and industry-leading standards. This is a particularly dynamic time to join, with significant investment and development across the organisation. We are seeking Shift Maintenance Engineers to join a growing team as we expand and enhance our operations. Please note that this role involves the use of demanding personal protective equipment (PPE), access to communal shower facilities, and the successful completion of pre-employment medical assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out breakdowns and PPMs on a variety of equipment, including conveyor systems, fillers, ovens, and automated machinery.

* Upgrade and maintain existing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

* Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required.

* Follow safe and logical procedures for installation and maintenance of equipment.

* Provide additional support to the project department when needed.

* Enforce and promote safe working practices to maintain a secure working environment.

Requirements:

* Experience working with pneumatic systems.

* Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.

* Welding and fabrication skills.

* Adhere to all health & safety aspects.

* Valid engineering qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (HND/HNC or equivalent) required.
