Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a high-profile commercial building in Colindale, North West London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on a static site, delivering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all mechanical and building services systems.
The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and a good understanding of general building services. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company offering excellent overtime, training, and long-term career progression.

Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
\n Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all mechanical plant and building services \n
Monitor and maintain mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings \n
Carry out plumbing duties, including unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers, and general pipework repairs \n
Maintain and service AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes, cleaning, and basic maintenance \n
Carry out water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and system monitoring \n
Undertake basic electrical duties such as lamp changes when required \n
Complete general building fabric maintenance across the site \n
Ensure all compliance checks and logbooks are accurately maintained and up to date \n
Diagnose faults and proactively resolve issues to minimise downtime \n
Maintain strong communication with client representatives and site management \n
Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site \n
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures \n
Package:
\n Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum \n
Call-Out: 1 in 4 (£149 per week) \n

Requirements:
\n Mechanically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent\n \n
Proven track record in commercial building maintenance \n
Multi-skilled with a good understanding of general building services \n
Strong communication and client-facing skills \n
Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates \n
