You will check sheet metal, fabricated and welded assemblies against engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed mechanical inspections of sheet metal components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Review and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to verify product dimensions. Perform quality inspections during the production process to adhere to industry standards and customer requirements. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarise rework and waste; input production data into quality databases. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment for accuracy and reliability.
