Job Description
Quality Inspector / Quality Technician / Mechanical Inspector / Metrologist required for a global manufacturer of measuring equipment used in precision engineering, electronics, medical, automotive and aerospace based near Woking, Surrey.
The Quality Inspector / Quality Technician / Mechanical Inspector / Metrologist will be responsible the inspection of components and products, producing inspection documents and CMM Programming.
The successful Quality Inspector / Quality Technician / Mechanical Inspector / Metrologist will have proven experience in a similar role, including experience working to ISO9001 standards within a commutable distance to Woking, Surrey.

Quality Inspector / Quality Technician / Mechanical Inspector / Metrologist Responsibilities:
\n
Inspection of components and products using visual, functions and dimensional checks
\n
CMM Programming and component inspection
\n
Producing inspection documents and reports
\n
Feedback on inspection issues to Assembly Team
\n
Quality checks and inspection of finished products
\n
Ensuring all work is compliant with ISO9001 standards
\n
Quality Inspector / Quality Technician / Mechanical Inspector / Metrologist Requirements:
\n
Previous experience as a Quality Inspector / Technician / Metrologist within manufacturing sector
\n
Familiarity with ISO9001
\n
Experience in the use of CMM's (co-ordinate measurement machines) including the programming of CMM's
\n
Comfortable with the use of Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, Height Gauges, Surface Plates, Comparator Stands and Slip Gauges
\n
Confident reading engineering drawings and an understanding of geometric tolerancing
\n
Commutable to Woking
