Position: Mechanical Fitter Location: Bristol Work: Full time Permanent Dayshift Salary: £30,700 to £31000 per annum We are now seeking to recruit a mechanical fitter for a busy manufacturing company specialising in building packaging machines. The appropriate candidate will have previous experience in mechanical assembly or mechanical fitting to set specifications. Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Fitter. • To fit and assemble machine parts accurately to engineering drawing. • To accurately fit sub assembly parts using engineering drawings. • Use hand tools and power tools to fit and assemble components. • Use engineering measuring equipment where necessary to ensure components are to specification. • Strip / prepare machines • Install machines at customer sites as necessary • Ensure safe systems of work are always adhered to and ensure any issues are reported immediately to management. • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and stored safely.
