Mechanical Fitter A multi-skilled assembler/fitter is required by a long-established and respected engineering manufacturing company. This interesting role is to work on various types of assembly and fitting to a high standard for equipment used in the food processing industry. Mechanical Fitter - Job Responsibilities: Assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Perform inspections to identify any faults or malfunctions and troubleshoot issues. Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks and ensure machinery operates efficiently. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for work. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Mechanical Fitter - Essential Qualifications: Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role. Proficiency in mechanical assembly and repair techniques. Ability to work with precision and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
