Mechanical Fitter

£15.00 per hour (£32,500) Negotiable plus benefits

Our client is a friendly busy service engineering company based in Huntingdon. They are looking to grow their team and would like to give the opportunity to a Mechanical Fitter to grow and develop a new career on a permanent basis.

The position of Mechanical Fitter will be site based in Huntingdon along with field based in and around the East Anglia area.

Main responsibilities for the Mechanical Fitter:

* All areas of mechanical assembly, servicing, fitting, breakdowns and refurbishment.

* Use of hand tools, mechanical engineering diagrams.

* Understanding of pumps would be an advantage, alongside fabrication experience.

* Ability to work to job sheets and understand technical drawings.

Qualifications / Skills for the Mechanical Fitter:

* Ideally you will have gone to college and studied Mechanical Engineering.

* Have worked within Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics and pneumatics.

* Used to various hand tools and enjoy taking things apart and rebuilding.

Hours of work for the Mechanical Fitter:

* Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm
