Mechanical Fitter Modular Build Projects at Mercury Hampton LtdLocation:Droitwich
Rate:£22-23 per hour (first 38 hours)
Overtime & Weekend RatesOvertime (beyond 38 hours & Saturday morning): £36 per hour (1.5x)Double Time (Saturday afternoon & Sunday): £48 per hour (2x)
About the RoleWe are looking for an experiencedMechanical Fitterto join our team working on modular plant room builds. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with expertise in pipework installation, pump fitting, and valve assembly within industrial or modular construction environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall mechanical systems in modular plant roomsFit pipework, valves, and pumps according to specificationsWork accurately from technical drawings and isometric diagramsEnsure all work complies with safety and quality standardsCollaborate effectively with fabricators, welders, and electricians on-site
Candidate RequirementsProven experience in mechanical fitting, including pipework, valves, and pumpsAbility to read and interpret technical/mechanical drawingsProficient with hand and power tools for mechanical assemblyPrevious experience in modular builds or industrial/mechanical settingsNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification (preferred)Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety certificationIf you are a motivated mechanical fitter looking for a rewarding role in a dynamic modular build environment, apply now to join our team in Droitwich!
