Mechanical Fitter Based in Halesowen Permanent - 40hours per week £34,000 basic + overtime and benefits
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional mechanical fitter to work within the maintenance team of a leading manufacturer based in Halesowen.
The purpose of this role of a mechanical fitter is to ensure all machinery such as presses and CNC machines are maintained to the highest standards.
Some of the benefits of this mechanical fitter role include:

Key Elements of a mechanical fitter are:
Work in safe and responsible manner.
Time keeping / attendance.
Maintenance of Press both preventive and reactive.
Timely response to all reactive breakdowns.
Flexibility to work around production requirements.
Critical spares stock.
Reliability of press improvement projects.
Hydraulic system servicing and monitoring.
Engineering support across site.
Maintenance of other equipment within department.

Required skills for the role of mechanical fitter:
- 2 years + experience within a maintenance fitter role - Strong knowledge of hydraulic press operations - BTEC or NVQ Level 3 qualifications - Analytical/Logical thinker - Able to communicate to various team members and management - Strong engineering background
