The Mechanical Fitter Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll work on a wide range of bespoke builds - this is not repetitive production work. The role involves assembling and installing mechanical and hydraulic systems onto specialist vehicles and equipment within a modern engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical assembly and fitting of components
Installing hydraulic systems and some electrical components
Working from engineering drawings and schematics
Vehicle and equipment build and installation
MIG welding (training provided)
Maintaining high quality and safety standards
