Mechanical Fitter

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Fitter to join our small, friendly and highly successful Capital Projects team. You’ll be visiting concrete-producing customer sites across the UK to carry out servicing, installation, commissioning and repairs to a range of equipment, but primarily high pressure mixer washout systems. You’ll be a competent welder who can carry out mechanical and electrical diagnostics and be comfortable checking the continuity of electrical control systems. Familiarity with high pressure pumps would be ideal, but all required product-related training will be given. You’ll have strong problem solving skills, be able to work on your own initiative and able to manage your time and prioritise tasks effectively. You’ll also be customer-focused, a good communicator and diligent in following all site-related Health and Safety procedures. Regular overnight stays away from home are a feature of the role but weekend work is rare. ConSpare is a well-established, family-owned company based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Notts.
