Peterborough\n\nSalary - Circa £31k plus overtime\n\nMonday-Friday days 7.30am-4pm\n\nYour new company:\n\nBased in Peterborough, you will be joining an industry-leading company that specialises in the development and manufacture of equipment within the water treatment industry!\n \nDue to continuous growth and expansion, the company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their close-knitted industrial team in Peterborough! The Mechanical fitter will be part of a team responsible for the assembly, maintenance and repair of a wide range of fabricated and complex treatment systems.\n\nOffering a wide range of benefits such as enhanced pension, health and welfare, including dental, enhanced maternity/paternity and more, this is a great time to join this business!\n\nKey Responsibilities & Duties:\n\nAssemble, install and repair mechanical components and large units\nMaintenance and fabrication of parts and equipment.\nQuality inspection of parts and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process\nParticipate in LEAN/KAIZEN continuous improvement initiatives\nWork to Health & Safety processes and procedures\nSkills & Experience required:\n\nProven experience in a similar mechanical fitting/assembly role\nAbility to read and work to engineering drawings and specifications \nExperience with stainless steel, aluminium, pipework and similar \nWelding experience would be beneficial. \nAbility to work with the wider team and alone.What you need to do now if you're interested in this role:\n\nClick 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or call us now.
