Mechanical Fitter\n\nPermanent (4-day week, 37.5 hours)\n\nLiverpool; site-based with occasional UK and global travel\n\nTime served mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent?\nExperience with pressure vessels, agitators, gearboxes or hydraulics?\nHappy with occasional travel and on-site installs?\n\nWhat's in it for you\n\n£35k to £45k salary\n4 day work week (Mon-Wed 7:30-17:30, Thurs 7:30-17:00)\nOvertime; x1.5 Friday and Saturday, x2 Sunday and Bank Holidays\n4 percent pension matched\n20 days holiday plus bank holidays\nRAC cover, death in service, income protection, EAP, retail discounts, health and wellbeing app\nWhat will you be doing?\n\nMechanical assembly and fitting of bespoke process equipment including pressure vessels and rotating kit\nWorking to tight tolerances and interpreting assembly drawings\nSupporting full builds from shop floor through to installation\nCollaborating with electrical and controls teams\nInspecting components and reporting non conformances\nWhere will you be doing it?\n\nBased in a Liverpool manufacturing facility, working in a multi skilled build team on bespoke equipment from assembly through to install, with short site trips in the UK and overseas as required\nWhat will you need?\n\nMechanical apprenticeship or equivalent\nRelevant fitting or assembly experience\nAbility to read drawings and work to precision tolerances\nGood problem solving and communication skills\n\nImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
