Mechanical Fitter / Fabricator (with Welding Experience)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter / Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical installations, maintenance, repair work, fabrication, and welding. This role involves working on a variety of projects and requires flexibility and a willingness to travel to different sites as needed. Key Responsibilities: * Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment and machinery.

* Carry out fabrication and welding tasks (MIG/TIG/Stick) to a high standard.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
* Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and specifications.
* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to complete projects on time.
* Maintain safe working practices in line with company and industry standards.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on all assignments. Qualifications and Skills: * Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Fitting (e.g., NVQ Level 3).
* Proven experience as a mechanical fitter/fabricator in a commercial or industrial setting.
* Demonstrable welding skills (MIG/TIG/Stick), with knowledge of welding safety and techniques.
* Proficiency with hand and power tools, and confidence in working with a variety of mechanical equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Valid CSCS card or equivalent.
* Full UK driving license.
