Job Description Were looking for a hands-on Mechanical Field Service Engineer (MIG & Stick Welding) to join a busy, well-established engineering company based in Telford! This is a dynamic, varied role combining travel to customer sites across the UK with hands-on workshop fabrication, welding, and mechanical maintenance at HQ. Youll work on industrial recycling machinery, including balers, performing both planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs. The role offers a unique mix of mechanical engineering, welding, and problem-solving, providing variety, responsibility and career progression. Our client is open to both: Experienced MIG & Stick welders looking to progress into field service engineering, or Mechanical Field Service Engineers with strong welding skills This is a Full-Time, Permanent position with full training provided! What youll be doing Planned and reactive maintenance of industrial recycling machinery (Balers) Carry out mechanical repairs, including MIG and Stick welding on components and assemblies
