We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer for a market leading business within the Corrugation Industry who install and service equipment across sites in the UK and Ireland,
This is a permanent role that has been created due to continued expansion. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within an Electrical maintenance based role within an manufacturing environment.
Candidates will be time served ( Minimum NVQ Level 3) Qualified in Mechanical Engineering. Experience of working on large scale production equipment is a must. Candidates must have experience working on a range of mechanical systems including Gearboxes, Motors, Shafts , Rollers, Chains/ Belts, Drives.
This is primarily a Days based role with current staff working on site 37.5 hours per week + Overtime + Travel. Candidates can manage their own workload but will require weekend work.
All travel time is paid door to door + all additional hours paid at premium rates - Realistic Earnings up to £75k
The role will cover sites across the UK so a willingness to travel is required.
This role would ideally suit a candidate with a demonstrable maintenance background looking to develop and progress into a field service based role.
Package includes 30 days leave + stats, Private Health and Dental and a great pension scheme
Role Description
* Provide support to client sites across the UK and Ireland.
* Support in Installation and Commissioning of machinery
* Support Customer’s systems to aid in improving productivity.
* Fault finding and rectification of Mechanical Faults
* Maintenance - Routine and Reactive maintenance covering all aspects of Mechanical work
* Training - Operational and maintenance training of customer staff
Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience working within a maintenance role within a industrial manufacturing environment is a must
* Experience working on Corrugators is highly advantageous
* Field Service Experience - advantageous
* Candidates must be time served and qualified in Mechanical Engineering
* Strong customer service mind set
* Willing to travel as required to sites in the UK and Ireland.
