This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served tradesperson (ideally an ex-pipefitter welder) looking to transition into or further develop their career in estimating. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and competitive bids for mechanical projects. Price works related to: Plant rooms / energy centres / boiler houses Pump installations

Review technical drawings and specifications to produce detailed cost estimates. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations. Ensure bids are submitted on time and meet client requirements. Travel to sites across the UK as required (typically returning the same day). Beneficial Skills / Qualifications: Previous experience in mechanical estimating or a strong background in mechanical trades. Time-served in the mechanical trade, ideally as a pipefitter welder. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installations. CSCS card holder. Full UK driving licence - national travel Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
