The Mechanical Estimator will play a crucial role in the success of the company’s diverse and exciting projects. Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates, analysing project specifications, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices. The role demands a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the M&E sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
