Position: Mechanical Engineering Technician Location: Witney, Oxfordshire Job Type: Permanent / Onsite
My client, a specialist manufacturing business are on the hunt for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team!
Role and Responsibilities – Mechanical Engineering Technician In this role, you will be assembling complex components and products for the scientific industry in line with tight tolerances and customer demand.
Other responsibilities include:
Troubleshooting – identifying, documenting, resolving and reporting technical issues during the assembly process Actively work with the D.O. to improve products and increase efficiency of assembly processes. Quality control and inspection – Conducting visual inspections to ensure products meet quality and specifications throughout the assembly process Experience or Qualifications – Mechanical Engineering Technician
NVQ or HNC Qualified in Engineering field Previous experience in assembly ideally within a scientific environment Experience working to tight tolerances Welding, Soldering and Fabrication experience (desirable) Benefits – Mechanical Engineering Technician
