Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – City of London – £46,000 + Excellent Benefits
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a reputable building services provider at a high-profile commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a Monday–Friday role, offering a great work-life balance alongside strong career progression and benefits.
The Role: As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems across the site, ensuring all plant and equipment runs efficiently and reliably.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 8:00am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
* Fault finding and repair of mechanical systems and plant
* Maintenance of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, and associated equipment
* Supporting with minor installations and project works
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and site policies
* Liaising with subcontractors and site management as required
Requirements:
* Mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
* Previous experience in commercial building maintenance
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Experience with HVAC and building services systems
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
Package:
* Salary: £46,000 per annum
