We are supporting a multi-disciplinary Design & Build consultancy in Chichester seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Building Services to deliver high-quality mechanical designs across commercial and industrial projects.
This role suits an intermediate to experienced Mechanical Engineer who can take responsibility for technical delivery, attend client meetings, and produce compliant, coordinated designs across all RIBA stages.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Produce mechanical building services designs including ventilation, heating, cooling, DHW, and public health Carry out detailed calculations, heat loss/gain assessments and site surveys Prepare specifications, drawings, and technical documentation Attend design meetings and communicate key issues to clients and directors Coordinate with architects, engineers, and specialists to deliver integrated solutions Ensure projects meet technical, contractual, and programme requirements Support junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
