Mechanical Engineer - Continental

- Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and keep production running efficiently
- Diagnose faults quickly across mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and implement effective repairs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across production lines and machinery
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules
- Communicate downtime issues clearly and ensure smooth shift handovers
- Carry out installation work and maintain high workshop standards
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer (City & Guilds or equivalent) or time-served background
- Previous experience in fault finding, repair and maintenance of production machinery
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience using welding equipment (MIG, TIG or arc)
- Solid understanding of health and safety within an engineering environment
