As a qualified Mechanical or Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for keeping a modern fleet of rolling stock operational and safe.\n\nWhether you're from a background in HGV maintenance, aerospace, plant machinery, marine, the armed forces, or REMEs, your transferable skills in heavy maintenance are exactly what we need. You are the kind of person who is a natural problem-solver, takes pride in your craft, and enjoys continuous learning.\n\nEssential Skills & Qualifications:\n\nNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.\n\nProven heavy maintenance experience in industrial or capital equipment.\n\nPractical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and braking systems.\n\nA team player with a strong commitment to safe working practices.\n\nWhat you will be doing:\n\nPreventative Maintenance: Carry out planned maintenance activities to ensure the long-term reliability and safety of the fleet.\n\nReactive Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.\n\nOperational Excellence: Adhere to rigorous engineering standards and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.\n\nData Management: Accurately record all maintenance, defect, and repair information to support ongoing fleet performance analysis.\n\nYou’ll work on a 4-on, 4-off shift rota (2 days, 2 nights), with 12-hour shifts from 7:00am–7:00pm.
