£40,000 - £45,000 base salary + 28 days holiday, 4% matched pension

They are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer with immediate effect.

The Role

The role of Mechanical Design Engineer will join a team with a mixture of tenured designers and upcoming apprentices. Overseeing the full design lifecycle, this role will become a specialist and lead within this team for special purpose machinery. The Mechanical Design Engineer will:

Work on complex machinery projects with 1 year lead time Support with bids and specifications from a technical perspective Full scope design of machines, tooling, and systems integration Oversee designs through manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and service Involvement in design reviews, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, and risk assessments The Candidate
