Mechanical Design Engineer

Haverhill, Suffolk (on-site)

£35,000 - £42,000 (DoE)

This is proper mechanical engineering.


You’ll be designing bespoke machinery that gets built, installed, and used by well-known manufacturing businesses. Not sat in a folder. Not watered down.

The role

You’ll take customer requirements and turn them into working mechanical designs.

  • SolidWorks design of machinery and components
  • Full assemblies and manufacturing drawings
  • Supporting builds and solving issues as they happen
  • Working closely with production, service, and suppliers


It’s hands-on. You’re not removed from the outcome.
