About the Role:
We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and support the development of innovative, high-quality products through precise technical drawings and documentation.
In this detail-focused role, you’ll translate design concepts and engineering ideas into accurate 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings, supporting the end-to-end product development process from concept through to industrialisation.
Working closely with engineers, production, and procurement teams, you’ll help ensure that designs are manufacturable, compliant, and aligned with performance, quality, and sustainability goals. Your eye for detail and commitment to accuracy will contribute directly to the successful delivery of our next of products.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Create detailed technical drawings and schematics using SolidWorks software. Interpret sketches, specifications, and client requirements to produce accurate 2D and 3D designs. Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines in all designs. Revise and update drawings based on feedback or project modifications. Prepare and maintain design documentation for internal and external use. Assist in design problem-solving, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential. Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit is desirable but not essential. Strong understanding of engineering or architectural design principles. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
