Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you'll get the chance to lead project delivery. The Role: Lead the design team and provide innovative design solutions and concepts, delivering rolling stock design projects including managing resources and all project deliverables. Liaise directly with customers/stakeholders, supporting on-site installation teams as needed Up to £55,000 per annum Office based with visits to site as and when required The Person: Mechanical Design background in rolling stock (passenger and/or freight) Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD modelling Knowledge of Solidworks (or equivalent CAD software) Able to work independently, prioritise workloads, and take initiative Experience of previously managing projects would be a bonus Reference Number.
