This long-established and fast-growing business specialises in industrial water treatment, designing and supplying both pure and wastewater systems. Due to increased demand and exciting upcoming projects, they are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. You’ll enjoy variety, responsibility, and the chance to help build a 3D design library while working with a supportive and skilled team.
Your Role as Mechanical Design Engineer Will Include:

Producing P&IDs, layout and general arrangement drawings
*
Designing mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks
*
Liaising with clients and project teams on technical details
*
Supporting quality control and validation of manufactured designs
*
Developing a 3D design library for standard plant equipment
As a Mechanical Design Engineer You Will Have:
*
Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD is essential
*
Circa 3 years' experience in a mechanical design or CAD role
*
Ideally a qualification in Mechanical or Design Engineering (not essential)
*
High attention to detail and a proactive, team-focused attitude
*
Commutable to Weston-super-Mare
