Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in structural steel or architectural metalwork, looking to join a specialist fabrication business with a strong reputation for quality and delivery?
\n
Do you enjoy a varied role combining site visits, concept design and producing detailed manufacturing drawings, working on bespoke projects such as balconies, fire escapes and internal balustrades?
\n
The company are a well-established fabrication business specialising in architectural and structural steelwork solutions.
\n
Known for delivering high-quality bespoke metalwork, the company supports projects across construction and commercial sectors, offering a full service from design through to manufacture and installation.
\n
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key design role, replacing a long-standing engineer, with the chance to take ownership of projects from initial survey through to production.

The Role:
\n
\n
Produce concept drawings for client approval
\n
Develop detailed manufacturing and installation drawings
\n
Design structural steelwork including balconies, fire escapes and balustrades
\n
Liaise with production and installation teams to ensure designs are practical and deliverable
\n
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
\n
\n
The Person:

Proven experience in mechanical or structural design
\n
Confident in 2D and 3D design software
\n
\n
