Junior Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) £30,000-£35,000 + Progression + Flexi Hours + Health Insurance Cardiff

Are you a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer with some experience in plant rooms and building services, looking to grow your skills and work on low-carbon and district-energy projects?
\n

In this role, you'll join a specialist consultancy at the forefront of low-carbon heating and district-energy projects. You'll be part of high-profile projects, working closely with a friendly, experienced team, while gaining exposure to all stages of mechanical design and building-services engineering.

This role would suit a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer or graduate engineer who is eager to develop their skills in plant room design and building services, and gain practical, hands-on experience across a variety of projects.

The Role:
\n
\n Support the development of mechanical designs for plant rooms and building services, including schematics, GA drawings, and technical specifications
\n
Assist with site surveys, attend project meetings, and support installations and commissioning
\n
Learn to manage design deliverables, procurement packs, and support tendering processes
\n
Work alongside senior engineers, gaining mentorship and guidance to develop your skills
\n
40-hour week - Flexi hours - 9am - 5pm.

The Person:
\n
\n Degree, HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or similar
\n
Some experience or placement experience in mechanical design or building services
\n
Commutable to Cardiff
\n
\n
