Mechanical Contracts Manager

Our client is a well-established and growing building services contractor, delivering mechanical and plumbing packages across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager

The Role:

This is a key position within the business, responsible for managing multiple mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion and final account. The ideal candidate will come from a plumbing or mechanical trade background, with a strong understanding of delivering mechanical services on fast-paced construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage projects from tender handover through to completion and final account agreement
Oversee mechanical and plumbing installations across multiple sites
Prepare and review RAMS, programmes, and technical submissions
Manage procurement of materials, plant, and subcontract packages
Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors to ensure smooth delivery
Coordinate with design teams to ensure efficient and compliant installations
Monitor project performance, costs, variations, and monthly valuations
Lead and support site managers, engineers, and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Oversee commissioning, handover, and O&M documentationRequirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical or Plumbing Contracts Manager
Strong background in plumbing or mechanical building services (essential)
Experience delivering residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong commercial awareness, including variations and cost control
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical / Building Services / Plumbing (desirable)What's on Offer:
