Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in mechanical installations? Engineering Direct Ltd are recruiting for a Project Manager to join a leading engineering client, overseeing projects across the North and North West.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Prepare site-specific risk assessments and method statements\n\n * Review and distribute safety certification and documentation\n\n * Procure plant materials and accessories, negotiating for competitive costs\n\n * Oversee installation of materials to client drawings and instructions\n\n * Test installed services and manage certification/documentation\n\n * Control project costs and deliver projects on time and within budget\n\n * Maintain accurate records and documentation\n\n * Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices\n\n * Liaise with line management and address project issues\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\n * Previous experience in mechanical installations (pipework, steelworks, tank building, chillers, boilers, pharmaceutical industry)\n\n * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs\n\n * Familiarity with industry terminology, standards, and regulations\n\n * Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills\n\nPerson Specification\n\n * Positive, proactive approach to challenges\n\n * Strong attention to detail and accuracy\n\n * Effective communicator and relationship builder\n\n * Committed to continuous improvement and learning\n\n * Motivated, collaborative, and professional\n\nThis is a great opportunity to join a reputable company.
