Role Overview
URecruit is seeking a proactive and skilled Mechanical Construction Manager to join our client’s team on this high-impact Pharmaceutical Scheme / Commercial scheme. You will spearhead the mechanical construction process, managing the installation and coordination of critical mechanical systems to ensure quality, compliance, and project success.
What You’ll Do
Oversee the planning, installation, and delivery of mechanical systems, such as HVAC, piping, and process utilities, to align with project goals and timelines.
Direct on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth coordination and top-tier installation quality.
Work closely with engineers, architects, and clients to meet specifications and address project challenges.
Ensure compliance with stringent safety, regulatory, and pharmaceutical industry standards (e.g., GMP).
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver the project efficiently and within cost parameters.
Conduct risk assessments, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
Mentor site teams, promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence.
What We’re Looking For
Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field apprenticeship
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in mechanical construction management, preferably on pharmaceutical or commercial projects.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, piping, process utilities) and construction practices.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and handle complex project timelines.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Dedication to safety, quality, and delivering results in a high-stakes environment.
