Job Description
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves the hands-on mechanical assembly of precision components for complex systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate high attention to detail and a commitment to quality, working in a collaborative environment alongside engineers and operations staff. This is a technically engaging role, ideal for someone with experience in precision mechanical builds, metrology, and a continuous improvement mindset. The successful technician will be involved in both production and development activities and should feel comfortable interpreting and feeding back on technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out precision mechanical assembly from engineering drawings and documentation.
Conduct quality assurance checks, identifying and reporting defects.
Kit parts in preparation for builds, following drawings and specifications.
