Know How Resourcing is currently recruiting a Mechanical Assembly Technician on behalf of our client based in Leeds.
We’re looking for a candidate with strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience assembling components using both hand and power tools. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient assembly of products within a warehouse environment, contributing directly to the client’s operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for various assembly tasks
* Perform quality checks to ensure all assembled products meet the required standards
* Maintain a clean and well-organised workspace
* Work collaboratively with team members to enhance assembly processes and productivity
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process
* Follow all health and safety procedures while working with tools and machinery
Requirements:
* Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Experience in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential
* Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour
Working Hours:07:00 – 15:00
