Experienced Plant Machinery Mechanic

⏰ Hours: Full-time, day shifts

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Plant Machinery Mechanic to join a busy operation in Biggleswade. This role is not entry-level — we are specifically looking for someone who has previously worked on plant machinery and can hit the ground running.

What You’ll Be Doing

Servicing and repairing plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, and telehandlers.

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic faults.

Carrying out planned maintenance and inspections.

Preparing machines for hire and return to service.

Completing job cards and maintenance records.

Working safely and professionally at all times.

What We Need From You

Proven experience as a plant machinery mechanic (essential).

Strong mechanical knowledge of plant equipment.

Confident with hydraulics and diesel engines.

Able to work independently without supervision.

Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Full UK driving licence preferred.
