Job Purpose The In-House Maintenance Operative will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all company vehicles and machinery, ensuring they are kept in safe, reliable, and efficient working order. This includes cars, vans, lorries, forklifts, and specialised Bedmaid cubicle bedding machines. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on company vehicles (cars, vans, lorries). Maintain and repair material handling equipment, including forklifts. Service and troubleshoot Bedmaid cubicle bedding machines, ensuring minimal downtime. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate tools and techniques. Maintain accurate service records and schedules for all vehicles and machinery. Check MOT status of all company vehicles, arrange MOT tests, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
