Job Description
Quantity Surveyor - M&E\nAWE, Reading (Site-Based)\nContract: Initial 6 Months\nUp to £500/day (Umbrella PAYE)\nMon-Fri | 45 hrs/week\nStart ASAP \nWe are seeking an experienced M&E-biased Quantity Surveyor to work on a major project at AWE, Reading, supporting a leading M&E contractor. This is a full-time, site-based role working from the site offices. \nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCommercial management of M&E packages\nCost control, forecasting, and reporting\nInterim valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts\nManaging variations and change control\nSubcontractor procurement and commercial administration\nWorking within strict contractual and regulatory requirements\nRequirements:\n\nProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on M&E packages\nExperience working in highly regulated environments (nuclear, defence, pharma, data centres, hospitals, etc.)\nDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar\nChartered (MRICS/MCIOB) desirable\nStrong commercial and stakeholder management skills\nMust be eligible for SC clearance (holding it already is advantageous)\nExcellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a strong likelihood of extension
