Senior M&E Project Manager (SC Cleared)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a heavy-hitting Senior M&E Project Manager to lead a flagship, large-scale infrastructure project in the Newquay area. This is a high-profile role requiring a leader who can manage complex mechanical and electrical packages within a high-security environment.

Given the scale of the works and the security protocols involved, we require a PM who is "boots on the ground" from Monday to Friday to ensure project milestones are met and safety standards are uncompromising.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Full lifecycle delivery of M&E packages (HV/LV, HVAC, Fire Systems, and Public Health) valued at £10m+.
• On-Site Management: Provide daily leadership for subcontractors and site teams to ensure the program remains on schedule.
• Security & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to site security protocols and CDM 2015 regulations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary interface between the client, end-users, and the consultancy team.
• Commercial Oversight: Manage variations, monthly valuations, and procurement schedules to protect project margins.

Requirements

• Clearance: Active SC Clearance is mandatory (must be transferable).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in M&E Project Management, specifically on major infrastructure, defense, or aerospace projects.
• Technical: Strong background in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines; ability to interrogate designs and solve complex site issues.
• Qualifications: HND/Degree in Engineering, SMSTS, and CSCS Black Card.
• Commute: Must be based in Cornwall/Devon or willing to lodge locally in Newquay Monday to Friday.
