Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Maidenhead, Berkshire - Single Man site – £45,000 per annum

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a M&E Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to be based in a prestigious Residential building based Maidenhead. This building was built in 2013 and is next to maidenhead station that includes the Elizabeth line great for people commuting from London. The site offers gyms, great coffee shops to make your morning better and shops to grab a quick drink. if you are feeling hungry there are restaurants available to fuel you for the day.

The successful candidate can be electrically or mechanically qualified with a proven track record in commercial/residential building maintenance.

Key duties & responsibilities

Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, domestic water services, drainage, lighting, power, fire alarms, and life-safety systems.
Ensure all M&E works comply with design drawings, specifications, Building Regulations, British Standards, and relevant health & safety legislation.
Coordinate M&E activities with main contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth integration with architectural and structural works.
Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks, ensuring works are installed to the required standard and rectifying defects promptly.
Monitor and manage programme milestones, identifying risks to progress and implementing corrective actions to maintain delivery schedules.
Support the testing, commissioning, and handover process, including witnessing tests, reviewing certification, and ensuring O&M manuals and as-built drawings are complete.
Manage and resolve technical queries (RFIs) and provide engineering solutions to on-site issues.
Ensure effective commissioning coordination across all M&E disciplines to achieve compliance and system performance.
Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental best practices on site, including compliance with CDM regulations.
Liaise with utility providers, local authorities, and statutory bodies as required for service connections and approvals.
Assist with cost control and value engineering, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining quality and performance.
Support defect rectification during the snagging and defects liability period.Requirements:

Electrically or Mechanically qualified - Level 2 or 3
City & Guilds - 18th Edition
Job logic experience (Preferred)
Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
Good communication and customer service skills
