M&E Logistics Manager

BMSL Group are recruiting for an Logistics Manager with a mechanical & electrical projects background. Our client are involved in the HS2 contract.

You will need to hold the following knowledge, experience and skills.

The M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Logistics Manager oversees the supply chain, storage, and transport of materials, equipment, and personnel for construction projects. Key responsibilities include coordinating on-site deliveries, managing inventory, supervising site transport/drivers, ensuring compliance with safety standards (RAMS), and optimizing subcontractor logistics for timely project delivery.

The salary and package is open for negotiation as our client do not want to rule any candidates out through salary alone.

This is a long term position involved in a very prestigious contract, a great opportunity to add to your CV.

Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience in mechanical and electrical packages

* Computer Literate and accustomed to using MS and site management software

* Numeracy and ability to understand numerical data

* Display ‘Be Safe’ attitude and behaviours

* Ability to work as a team and on own initiative

* Attitude for compliance and good attention to detail

* Articulate, confident and assertive

* Good standard of verbal reasoning skills

* Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively

* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise

* Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and on own initiative

* A comprehensive understanding of stock rotation

* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads
